By now, everyone should know that I do not take sides. I simply cannot knowingly take part in any kind of Cognitive Bias. However, it is my position that the FBI got it wrong when it comes to "Black Identity Extremist". I will go on a ledge and say that I appreciate all the work that the FBI has done over the years from the G-Men all the way up until now as far is capturing Fugitives and taking some of the dangerous criminals off the streets. As a side-note, locking people up really doesn’t work in the long run from a Sociological perspective. But I digress.

But when it comes to the Black Identity Extremist label that the FBI has put on some African-Americans within this country it sends a very negative message to African-Americans. But I know what you’re thinking; "What does this have to do with firearms?" in answering that I will say to unjustly label someone a "Domestic Terrorist" is to take away their privilege of owning firearms.

Now we all know that Terrorism does not have a face. In fact, a Terrorist can be anyone that we mutually agreed upon to be a Terrorist. I for one do not think that is a good idea to engage in such labeling practices. Being A Sociologist, I can thoroughly explain to you the dangers in labeling anyone anything. But I will say this, if you label someone as a Terrorist and you treat them like a Terrorist then they will act like or become a Terrorist. Why? Because the person being labeled will see the situation as a: “Damned if I do damned if I don’t” kind of situation. Moreover, when it gets to that point, you don’t want to be anywhere near it.

The truth of the matter is, there is no Law-Enforcement Agency in this country that will be able to deal with any "REAL" Active Terrorist Threat. I mean they may have stopped a few Terrorist Incidents in which only 1 to 5 people may have been involved in a conspiracy to commit a Terrorist Act. But do you really think that they can stop 100,000 to 500,000 people? I don’t think so. The reason why this is important is because if this is the road that we are going down and if we continue to keep labeling people especially as a "Black Identity Extremist" you are in fact co-conspirators in manufacturing Terrorists.

Call me a Conspiracy Theorist, but I think that the Black Identity Extremist label is an attempt by certain people within the FBI to stop African-American leadership from empowering and instilling guidance and strength in other African-American people. Moreover, I think that labeling strong and resistant African-American people as a "BIE" is yet another ploy to stop African-American leadership from promoting the idea to African-Americans that they should rid themselves of learned helplessness, self-hate and docile state that the majority of African-Americans are known for. I’m also wanted to go on the ledge and say that this is especially true when it comes to African-American and firearms.

It should be known that to date within the last 20 years there has been absolutely no African-American Organization that has targeted Police Officers. That’s right: not one! However, there have been multiple Caucasian Organizations that have directly conspired and acted on that conspiracy to in fact Murder Law Enforcement Officers as expressed by Karen Bass.Don’t take my word for it look at the video.

So my question is how does the certain individuals within the FBI justify such a label as the Black Identity Extremist? Moreover, why hasn’t any FBI Agents and personnel come out to speak out against such labeling practices that has been proven time and time again by not only Sociologist but by Psychologists to have severe adverse effects on the individual, group and or culture to be labeled. Again, don't take my word for it see the video above.

But I’m not thoroughly convinced that some of the people at the FBI are that stupid enough to embark on such a labeling campaign without knowing the full scope of things to come down the pipe by engaging in such activities. I mean you do have to have at least a Bachelor's Degree in order to even join the FBI! But what if I told you that some of these people within the FBI who created this label wished to achieve the after effect of what labeling does. Which is to get you to become the label in which they ascribed to you so that you can act a fool in order for them to lock you up. Wow, I would like to give a special thanks to C. Wright Mills for giving me the Sociological Imagination to see past people and the bullshit organizations spew in order to achieve their desired results.
