When it comes to holsters, I have to say that my experience is limited; however, I did happen to find the right holster for me at the right price point. The manufacture of the holster system in which I choose was an Inside The Waist Band (IWB) holster by Concealed Customs. Concealed Customs can be found on Facebook.
I chose this particular holster because it had a lifetime warranty, it was hand crafted, thermo-molded, light weight, durable and its minimalist construction. Which I thought would all be beneficial. I also read that it could be easily adjusted for retention with the use of a simple Phillip screwdriver. Which I'm pretty handy with if I do say so myself. Some model have an optional Sweat Guard.
Anyway, I find that this particular holster seems to be a pretty good fit for me so far. It fits really snug between my body and my clothing with no added girth. I've been able to Extract and Draw and re-holster my firearm easily without any problems or hang ups so to speak. The quality of the material seems to be sturdy but yet pliable enough to mold to the fit of my firearm.
The retention of the holster was perfect right out of the box! As an added bonus the price point was also very good, coming in at around $34.99, I would say that that is a fair price. This is not to say that there not other less expensive holsters, because there are! While in the store I also observed that some holsters where made of cloth but I didn't think they would hold their shape as well or last as long. So I skipped over them.
And as always there were always other holsters that were more expensive. So I'm guessing this would be considered a “mid-line” purchase. I also have to say that I love the color that I chose. Since it is my concealment holster, I got it in a pinkish/plum digital print color to match my firearm.
